Did you know there are 3 types of fun?
-
Type I
This is fun that is enjoyable in the moment and remembered fondly later. Activities like a hike, cross country skiing, canoeing, or a bike ride.
-
Type II
This type is not always enjoyable while it’s happening but is rewarding and fun in retrospect. Examples include challenging hikes, tough mountain bike rides, or caving. These are difficult at times but feel great afterward. You’re gonna sweat, you might fall, and maybe get dirty.
-
Type III
This type is often extreme sports, requires real skill and experience, and involves activities that are more about survival or endurance, such as extreme challenges that are not enjoyable to most people, but those who enjoy this type of fun, really love it.
